Membership at Salem Church

Quarterly we hold a one and half hour meeting to introduce those who have visited our church to Salem Church and the United Church of Christ. At which time, you can determine if you would like to formalize your relationship with Salem Church through membership. At Salem, we are committed to helping every one of our members grow in their faith, identify their gifts and calling and become engaged in mission and outreach for the benefit of others. Given this, we offer an introduction or reintroduction to the Christian faith course called F.O.C.U.S. (Foundation on Christ Uniting Salem). It consists of three modules with each module being three to four sessions. It is our hope and prayer that every member of Salem Church will eventually take and complete the FOCUS course.

In addition, we provide several opportunities throughout the year for you to discover your gifts, skills, passions and values and discern how God might be asking you to use them at this time in your life. We want each of our new members to feel a part of this church community.
