What a wonderful year of service and caring has been given by our youth group to our neighboring communities. Their projects for this academic year included: sleeping out in cardboard boxes during a bitterly cold night in October to raise awareness of and money for the homeless (Indian Valley Housing Corporation), making and distributing over 200 bagged lunches for those at the Salvation Army in Frankford, repairing and extending a wood chipped trail to be used by the youth at Warwick House as a coping mechanism during difficult times, our youth and the youth of Warwick House working together to clean the Doylestown library on Martin Luther King Day, raising money for those who are hungry by participating in the CROP Walk (Church World Service) and caroling to spread holiday cheer to those who are lonely or shut-in.
Having youth among us and with us is an essential part of our life as a community of faith.
Deepening one's relationship with God is a worthwhile endeavor. For in so doing, there is newfound joy, peace and strength.
Our children are not only learning about God, they are having experiences with God.
