If you prefer a more informal, relaxed and contemporary service, then this maybe the time you would like to worship with us at Salem Church. The music is a mixture of contemporary music: multicultural and praise songs led by our musicians (synthesizer and drums) and in some of our music we use the piano. Communion is received weekly as we stand around the Communion table shoulder to shoulder and heart to heart in a large circle. Our time of prayer is spontaneous and from the heart and interspersed with periods of silence. Once or twice a month we use visual projection to illustrate the day's message whether it be to accompany a song, highlight an element of the sermon or invite us to the Communion table. We realize that so much of our world involves visual images and we believe the Church needs to incorporate this medium in its work and message. Nursery care is provided (September - Father's Day).

10:30 AM - Traditional Worship (mid Sept - mid May)

If you prefer a more traditional service with organ music and choirs, then this maybe the time you would like to worship with us at Salem. The music is a mixture of classical, historical and gospel. Each Sunday the adult chancel choir sings as well as periodically throughout the year our bell choir and band/orchestra. Communion is served monthly on the first Sunday of each month. Nursery care is provided (September - Father's Day).

9:30 AM - Worship (mid May - early Sept)

During the summer, we have one worship service rather than two. We look forward to this time together. We get a chance to meet with those who participate in the service we do not attend during the academic year. We get a chance to experience the best elements of each part of our 9:00 and 10:30 AM services of worship: contemporary and traditional music, a reverential yet more informal atmosphere, and visual imagery. Communion twice a month during July and August.
